Man-made CO2 may start to affect our brains by the end of this century

Embargoed until: Publicly released:

Fossil fuel combustion is driving  CO2 indoors toward levels harmful to human cognition, according to US researchers. Inhaling too much CO2 is known to reduce our basic decision-making abilities and complex strategic thinking, and we could hit those levels by the end of the century, they warn. The best way to prevent this hidden consequence of climate change is to reduce fossil fuel emissions, they conclude.
