Australia signed up to the Bletchley Declaration, an international agreement on the regulation of AI, at a summit in London late last week. A release from the Department of Industry on Friday said that signing the declaration "signals our commitment to work with the international community to ensure AI is developed with the right guardrails in place". Aussie experts comment below on the declaration and what needs to happen next.
