Biography

Suresh Mathivanan completed his PhD in Johns Hopkins University in USA. Since 2011, he leads a team of dedicated researchers in developing strategies to combat a complex diseases such as cancer. Suresh is the recipient of several awards including the Ramaciotti Establishment Award, Ken Mitchelhill Young Investigator Award from the Australasian Proteomics Society, and both the Eppendorf Edman Award and Bioplatforms Australia Awards from the Australian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). Additionally, Suresh was one of three finalists for the international Scopus Young Researcher Award(2013). He receives several prestigious fellowships including the NH&MRC Peter Doherty fellowship and ARC DECRA.
