Create an expert profile on Scimex - registration form

Scientific experts can create their own public profile here.

The Scimex team assesses applications from experts on a case-by-case basis and will use peer-reviewed publications in the relevant area of research as the basis for defining expertise. For more general background on how to use Scimex, click here

In some disciplines, where publication in peer-reviewed journals is less applicable, applications will be considered on other academic bases. To see our policy on experts, click here.

We will contact you once your application has been reviewed. You should hear from us within two working days. If you don't hear from us within seven days, please contact us. Once your application is processed, your full profile will be visible to registered journalists. The public will also be able to see your profile but it's important to point out that any personal and contact information will always remain hidden from the general public.

Once you have submitted this form, a second page will appear enabling you to include a headshot image of yourself if you wish.

Please note, this form cannot be saved half-completed. You should only submit this form when you have all the information on-hand. You can edit your profile later, but only once your profile is live and your username and password have been activated by Scimex moderators.
