Three Nobel laureates + Tim Minchin on The Future of Decision Making

Venue: Sir John Clancy Auditorium, UNSW Sydney and Livestream Sydney, NSW, Australia

Start Date: Thu 24 Oct 2024 Start Time: 1800

End Date: Thu 24 Oct 2024 End Time: 2015

The Nobel Prize Dialogue is coming to Sydney for the first time, bringing together minds from science and beyond to discuss and explore the future of decision-making.

The theme for the evening event, which will also be live-streamed, is The Future of Decision Making. With democracy in decline, geopolitical tensions rising and AI affecting the way we see the world, this conversation couldn’t be more timely. How do we improve how we make collective decisions across cultures, geographies and generations?

The evening will feature three Nobel Prize laureates together with other regional and international experts. Speakers include Peace Prize laureate Tawakkol Karman and Physics Prize laureates Saul Perlmutter and Brian Schmidt.

Musician, comedian, actor, composer, songwriter, pianist and director, Tim Minchin will also be among the speakers. Contact UNSW for media interviews.
