Kids with disturbed sleep at 10 years old may be at an increased risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviours in the next two years, according to US research. The study of around 10,000 kids found that those with the most disturbed sleep at age 10 had the highest rates of suicidal thoughts and behaviours by age 12. The researchers say that sleep could be a potential target to help prevent youth suicide.
