Australian researchers have reviewed the existing evidence on whether vitamin D can help with pain related to periods and endometriosis. They brought together the findings of seven previous 'gold standard' clinical trials, and say there's some evidence, albeit of a low certainty, that vitamin D can help reduce period pain. However, there was no evidence that vitamin D can help with endometriosis-related pain.
