Being a young man, religious, and with a high income, may make you more likely to gamble on sports, according to international research which also suggests that betting on sports, daily fantasy league play, and betting on e-sports all increase the risk of developing a gambling problem. The researchers say that although sports betting is probably safe for most of us, their findings suggest that people who bet on sports are at higher risk of gambling-related problems than those who don't.
