Negative impacts of COVID-19 on sperm may get better over time

COVID-19 may be bad news for men's little swimmers, but new research suggests that at least some negative impacts of COVID-19 on sperm might only be temporary. International researchers looked at 20 men with moderate COVID-19 and found that sperm motility was below the normal range 14 days after the COVID-19, but it improved significantly by the 120 days mark when it was back within the normal range. The study also found several other measures of sperm quality which were low at day 14 had improved 120 days after diagnosis - although not all had returned to the normal range.
