Mindfulness may be a cheaper option for helping with your depression

Mindfulness could be a cheaper and more effective option for dealing with your depression, when compared against cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), say UK researchers. In full, the practice is called practitioner-supported mindfulness-based cognitive therapy self-help (MBCT-SH), which includes meditation, body- and breath-awareness, focusing on the moment and yoga, and the researchers say it led to significantly reduced symptoms of depression compared to CBT, after 16 weeks of practice.
