A collaboration between researchers at the University of Melbourne and Wildlife Health Australia, this guide aims to assist journalists, media outlets, public relations writers, and communications and marketing teams, in preparing stories, media releases and other public communications on public health issues relating to Australian possums. Experts in public health, wildlife health and wildlife ecology all contributed and reviewed the final document.
