Not all screen time is created equal

Using screens with others and using them in a more interactive way can have a positive impact on children's well-being, according to Australian research, which has looked at how kids feel while they are on screens. The authors say the small study of 43 young kids provides evidence for moving beyond duration-focused recommendations. They say screen-based activity type and context could be key targets for maximising benefits and minimising negative impacts of children’s screen use.
