High-intensity circuit training (HICT) could make sleep disorder treatment more effective, according to international research, which found that combining exercise and sleep interventions led to greater improvements in sleep outcomes than either intervention alone. The study of around 100 women with poor sleep health found that an eight-week program that combined high-intensity circuit training with sleep health interventions, such as cognitive behavioural therapy, led to better sleep when combined.
