Australian researchers have put together 80 guideline statements for what they believe is the first set of recommendations for managing male infertility in Australia. The researchers say male factors likely contribute to 50% of infertility cases, so they reviewed the evidence on male infertility to develop these guidelines. The guidelines include evaluations that can be done to diagnose suspected infertility, treatments that are available and how potential risk factors for infertility should be communicated to patients.
