Biography

I'm a clinical psychologist currently working in Adult Community Mental Health and private practice. My expertise covers a broad range of psychology including LGBTQIA+ health, family-system approaches, parenting support, group therapy, and psychotherapies like CBT, ACT, and DBT. I also specialize in assessing cognitive and learning abilities, particularly in cases of ADHD and ASD.

I've had a diverse career, working with private clients of all ages, first-responders, the military, and in Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health. In 2020, I completed my PhD, focusing on how we understand, classify, formulate, and explain mental disorders.

Outside of my practice, I'm involved in community organizations. I was on the governance board of Outline Aotearoa and am a committee member for the NZCCP Auckland branch. I'm also enthusiastic about sharing psychology knowledge with the public.
