Previous media experience
I have previously appeared as an expert guest on radio stations (live and pre-recorded), including ABC's The World Today and Afternoons) and a podcast (Pod of Science).
I have also presented at many in-person events, such as the Astrolight festival, Macquarie University Astronomy Open Nights and AstroTours and general public astronomy talks at Swinburne University of Technology. I have also spoken to school students and community groups about astronomy.
I have presented at Hawthorn Town Hall Art Gallery after being an expert science consultant on the 'Deeper Darker Brighter' exhibition, for which I also contributed to the artworks. I have also been the astronomer in residence at Voyages Resort in Yulara, NT.
