Biography
Dr Vicki Jackson is a Statistical Geneticist and Senior Research Fellow at WEHI in Melbourne, Australia.With an MSc in Medical Statistics and a PhD in Genetic Epidemiology her research focuses on using large scale genetic and biological data, to understand more about the genetic and biological basis of a human health and disease.
She has expertise in a range of methods, from genome-wide association studies (GWAS), gene discovery, polygenic risk scores, to risk prediction. Her research has spanned a wide range of traits and conditions, including respiratory health, retinal disease, speech disorders and cancers.
