Biography

Associate Professor Katharina Wolf is a strategic communication and public relations expert at Curtin University, with more than 25 years’ professional and academic experience across Europe and Australia. Her expertise spans reputation and crisis management, public interest communication, stakeholder engagement, legal literacy, AI and ethics, and health communication, including funded research on nicotine pouches, youth appeal and regulation. She leads Curtin’s public relations and strategic communication programs and teaches across undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA and executive education. Katharina is a Fellow of Communication and Public Relations Australia and a Senior Fellow of Advance HE. Her awards include the Australian Learning and Teaching Council Excellence in Teaching Award and Educator of the Year from the Public Relations Institute of Australia / Communication and Public Relations Australia. She chairs the Public Relations and Communications Association Global Education Advisory Board and is Deputy Chair of the Asia-Pacific Public Relations Research and Education Network.
