I have previous experience writing for The Conversation, 360Info, and Crikey. I have had quotes in The Guardian, Crikey, ABC, and European news outlets. I have done pre-recorded interviews for ABC which have appeared on ABC Breakfast and as part of the ABC's Behind the News programme for high school students. I have also done live radio for ABC South Australia.

Katherine M. FitzGerald is a PhD Researcher at the Digital Media Research Centre. Kate has an academic background in psychology and digital communications. She uses qualitative and digital ethnography methods to study conspiracy theories, information disorder, and knowledge production on digital platforms. Kate has published in journals such as the Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review and Media International Australia. She has contributed her expertise to multiple edited volumes and both domestic and international media outlets.Personal info
