Biography

I am an environmental engineer and modeller. I typically apply simplified numerical approaches to study big-picture problems (such as the global energy transition, limits to growth, climate change and food security), and their local-scale solutions (such as renewable energy, urban agriculture and green infrastructure). I was a founding member of the Wellbeing Economy Alliance (WE-All), and my scholarly work has informed dozens of policy documents around the world, at national and international levels.
