Biography

Dr Jacqueline Boaks is the Curriculum Lead with the Curtin Centre for Applied Ethics, where she works in curriculum development in applied ethics in the Centre’s focal areas of the Ethics of AI, Sustainability, and Climate Ethics.
Jacqueline facilitates Curtin’s executive education program on the ethics of Artificial Intelligence, and a Curtin wide Community of Inquiry on AI Ethics.
Jacqueline has a background in management, consultancy, and academia. She previously taught ethics and leadership at University of Western Australia, and Notre Dame University.
She is Vice President of the Australian Association of Professional and Applied Ethics, editor of Research into Ethical Issues in Organizations (Emerald), founder of the WA Ethics Outside Philosophy group, co-editor of Leadership and Ethics (Bloomsbury) and a member of the editorial board of the journal Philosophy of Management (Springer).
Her current research areas includes the impact of Artificial Intelligence in CSR decision making in organisations.
