Previous media experience
I have experience engaging with national media and public audiences on artificial intelligence, robotics, autonomous systems, STEM education and the responsible use of emerging technologies. I have provided expert commentary to ABC News on the use of AI in tax returns and to AAP on AI-enabled camera technology for self-driving cars. I have also led public STEM engagement activities, including robotics and coding workshops for Western Sydney high school students, which received media coverage through ABC News, Catholic Outlook and IE Magazine. These experiences have involved explaining complex technical topics in accessible language for journalists, students, educators and the broader public.
