Receiving a Pfizer vaccine after being infected with COVID-19 leads to stronger immunity than that for uninfected vaccinated people, but any immunity will wane over time, according to international research. The team used Israeli health data to measure the rate of infection at different times after vaccination, and compared people who've had COVID-19 with people who haven't. The rate of infections per 100,000 people who had received one vaccine at least six months ago following a COVID-19 infection was 11.6, compared with 88.9 per 100,000 uninfected, double vaccinated people over the same time frame.
