For unvaccinated people, having had COVID in the past may mean lower chances of catching COVID again according to international researchers. The team analyzed data from over 120,000 people who were unvaccinated, and either did or didn't have a prior COVID-19 infection. They found that having had COVID-19 in the past gave an 85 per cent lower chance of catching it again and an 88 per cent lower chance of being hospitalized for COVID-19.
