Some educational interventions can improve kids' ethics and morals

Australian-led research has found that educational interventions that are interactive and discursive may be an effective way to improve kids' ethics and morals. The team pooled and re-analysed the data from 92 previous trials of interventions, including a total of over 12,500 students. They found interventions only worked if they involved student discussions rather than just one-way lectures, videos or online courses. Although they admit the available evidence wasn't the strongest, the team says the findings suggest interventions that involve student discussions may improve students’ ethics and morals.
