Professor Day-You Chao from the Graduate Institute of Microbiology and Public Health at National Chung Hsing University will publish her latest research in "Communications Biology," on January 24 at 18:00 Taiwan time.
The study reveals the discovery of antibodies that can suppress the Zika virus in Taiwanese people who have been infected with dengue fever and vaccinated against Japanese encephalitis. These findings could help the development of vaccines against viruses like dengue, Zika, and Japanese encephalitis, which belong to the Flavivirus group.
The Science Media Center Taiwan invites Professor Chao to an online press briefing to discuss the importance of this research for Taiwan and the global prevention and control of dengue, Zika, and Japanese encephalitis viruses. Attend the SMC briefing and discover how this study impacts global strategies in vaccine development and disease control.
