Severe gastrointestinal symptoms common in kids with COVID-19

A study of Italian kids with COVID-19 has found that around 1 in 10 have severe gastrointestinal symptoms and the symptoms are often associated with the multisystem inflammatory syndrome, known to affect kids with COVID-19. The authors say that prompt identification of these symptoms may improve the management of serious complications.
