The Pfizer vaccine reduces the risk of a COVID-19 infection and hospitalisation in kids aged 5 to 11 years of age when Omicron is the dominant variant, according to new real world data from Singapore. The data, from more than a quarter of a million kids, shows that two doses of the vaccine were 36.8% effective against infection, and 82.7% effective at preventing hospitalisation.
