People who have received two COVID-19 vaccines may not change their behaviour when it comes to social distancing compared to how they acted before vaccination, according to an international survey. Researchers repeatedly surveyed groups of people across North America, Europe and Asia as their respective countries rolled out the vaccines. They say across the population surveyed, there were no substantial changes in social distancing behaviour after vaccination. The surveys took place in the first half of 2021, before the countries involved began exempting vaccinated people from specific COVID-19 social distancing policies.
