The New Zealand Medical Journal editor has canvassed the health policies of National, ACT and NZ First, which are likely to form the next government. Prof. Frank Frizelle finds the parties' main point of agreement appears to be on solving the health workforce issues, while the Māori Health Authority could become a point of contention. He writes that whoever makes up the new government is unlikely to be in a financial position to make significant change in the healthcare sector this term.
