Close to half of the Aussies who are eligible for bowel cancer screening are not sending in their poo for analysis, say Aussie researchers. They found that, while numbers did increase from 2015-2016 to 2019-2020 - 40.9% and 43.8% respectively -, the rates are still very low. Moreover, the researchers found that participation rates across remote or disadvantaged areas were even lower still.
