*** ONLINE BRIEFING: Tue 9th Jan 2018 at 15:00 AEDT *** The Bureau of Meteorology will release its 2017 Annual Climate Statement on Wednesday 10 January. Dr Karl Braganza, Head of Climate Monitoring at the Bureau, will discuss the findings of the Statement, which is the Bureau's official summary of the previous year's climate. It includes information on temperature, rainfall, significant weather events, sea surface temperatures and climate influences in Australia.
