Ice use in Australia started going up around 2010, and it hasn't stopped since

Problematic methamphetamine use and related harms started to increase in Australia around the start of the 2010s and that trend has continued with more recent data suggesting there is continued demand and a sustained market for methamphetamine in the country. From around 2015 onwards, prices continued to decline and the frequency of use among people who inject drugs continued to increase, the study showed.
