Limited support for vaccine mandates in NZ

Publicly released:
New Zealand

A survey of more than 1,800 New Zealanders has found limited support for 'no jab, no job' policies in New Zealand. Almost half (46%) of respondents agreed employers should have the right to require their employees to prove they are vaccinated. However 57% disagreed with employers being able to fire someone for refusing to get vaccinated. Older individuals and people with high confidence in the vaccine are also more likely to support the mandates.
