Three in four COVID-19 patients who survived after being admitted to an intensive care unit are still experiencing physical symptoms one year on, according to a Dutch study. Researchers followed up with about 250 COVID-19 survivors a year after their ICU stay. In a survey, three in four reported ongoing physical symptoms like fatigue and impaired fitness, one in four reported mental symptoms such as anxiety and one in six reported cognitive issues.
