Women with higher waist circumference measurements have a higher risk of infertility, according to international researchers. The team compared the waist circumference of 3,239 women aged 18-45, 327 of whom were infertile. The researchers say those with infertility issues were more likely to be older, have a higher BMI and have a higher waist circumference. The association between a high waist circumference and infertility was less prominent among women who were active, the researchers say.
