Google searches for abortion medication jumped to record highs after leaked US Supreme Court decision

Google searches for abortion medication in the US jumped to record highs and were as much as 162% higher than expected in the 72 hours after the US Supreme Court decision was leaked in May 2022, according to new data. The study found that significantly more searches occurred in states with more restrictive reproductive rights.
