The recent release of a report from the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response is very sobering reading.
It is clear that the warning signs for the pandemic were seen many years ago and were not acted on. Sadly history repeats itself and we as a society have difficulties in changing.
It is particularly distressing, as for current pandemic, and also most medical conditions, the terrible outcomes including death are avoidable. How is that ok?
