Close to one in ten children across the globe have experienced some kind of sexual violence, say international researchers. The team pooled and reviewed data from 165 previous studies, and say that 11% of kids globally experienced sexual harassment and 9% experienced contact sexual violence. Additionally, they found that 6% of children (7% of girls and 3% of boys) reported experiencing completed forced sexual intercourse in their lifetime.
