Gender has little impact on the development of sharing behaviour and fairness in kids and teens around the world, according to UK and US research, which looks at a diverse range of cultures including Indigenous Australians and Fijians. The study looked at what is called pro-social behaviour, which includes kids' willingness to share and cooperate. They found that there was very little difference between the boys' and girls' willingness to share or their sense of what was fair.
