*BRIEFING RECORDING NOW AVAILABLE* Medications to treat COVID-19 have been a contentious issue since the beginning of the pandemic, with some members of the public latching on to unproven medications like hydroxychloroquine and now ivermectin. As misinformation circulates online, international and Australian researchers are hard at work gathering evidence of what works and what doesn't to treat growing caseloads as we move away from COVID zero. With each new medication comes a dilemma; how do we secure enough for Australia when the whole world needs the same thing?
