We know the negative impact climate change can have on human health, but what's often forgotten is how much mitigation efforts can improve health, experts argue. In this editorial, public health experts from Wellington and Melbourne are urging health professionals to make submissions on the Bill to put health benefits at the forefront of possible new laws. They mention the benefit green transport methods such as cycling and walking could have on obesity and diabetes, and how reducing meat consumption could fight rates of bowel cancer.
