Koalas under the microscope to save the species

Koala numbers across Australia are declining, but Aussie researchers suggest that genetic diversity could be their saving grace. The team from Queensland found two distinct genetic "groups" across the country, but it would be unwise to move the marsupials across these regions due to them having adapted to different environments.
