Dry-cleaners at risk of eye irritation

Workers in the dry cleaning industry have changes in the tear film that covers the eye and stops it from drying, and these changes may lead to a condition known as evaporative dry eye, with workers showing the signs and symptoms that are typical of this disease, according to Australian and Colombian research.
