25 Mountains. Zero latitude. 25 years. Zero ice. Press briefing with Tim Jarvis

Only 25 mountains on the equator have glaciers. Within a quarter of a century, they will be gone due to Climate Change. Tim Jarvis, AM is an environmental scientist, adventurer and author and will be embarking on an expedition called 25zero. Tim, along with a core support team, will be climbing three of the 25zero mountains (Carstensz Pyramid, Indonesia; Mt Stanley, Uganda and Chimborazo, Ecuador) during the 12 day UN Climate Change Conference, COP21. From the summit of each mountain, they will beam footage from the rapidly disappearing glaciers into the conference, with the determination to instill a sense of urgency and to show the severity of Climate Change. Video available below from the media briefing - the last chance to catch Tim Jarvis before he departs Australia to commence climbing.
