Biography

Willa Huston is a Senior Lecturer and research group leader at the School of Life Sciences, University of Technology Sydney. Her research is focused on the human sexually transmitted infection Chlamydia. She is especially interested in understanding why the infection has devastating consequences such as infertility in some women. Her work has also recently expanded into new treatments for Koalas with Chlamydia. She is happy to comment on sexually transmitted infections, women's infertility and Chlamydia in Koalas.
