Biography

Verity is a Geologist working in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholder engagement and remote community education at Geoscience Australia. Verity also has experience in Indigenous affairs policy. Previous to that she worked in the Amadeus Basin, Northern Territory where she uses sedimentology, geochronology and other geoscience disciplines to characterise rocks over a billion years old. She learnt these skills during her PhD in Geology through the University of Adelaide (2018) where she also attained a Bachelor of Science (Honours). She worked and lived in Alice Springs between 2013 and 2019.
