Dr Alysha De Livera

Biography

Alysha is Senior Lecturer in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, at La Trobe University Melbourne, and is affiliated with The University of Melbourne, Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research and Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute.

Alysha contributes her statistical expertise to a wide range of problems in medicine, epidemiology and biology, and works on statistical methods and software to handle issues that are motivated by these studies. Alysha actively engages in lecturing, mentoring, consulting, and supervising students. She helps promote biostatistics and bioinformatics in Australia, and advocates women in STEM.
